ESIC Salary Component Calculation

What kind of salary component do you need to calculate ESIC? You can deduct ESIC for employees whose gross salary is under ₹15,000.00 per month. On the employee's side, it's 1.75% rounded off to one rupee, and on the employer's side, it's 4.75% rounded off to one rupee.

For example, if someone's gross salary is ₹15,000.00 and that employee is drawing ₹14,500.00 in any particular month, then the calculation should be as follows:
- ₹14,500 * 1.75% = ₹254
- ₹14,500 * 4.75% = ₹689

That's it.

Nitesh has answered all your questions. The above method is the correct way to calculate ESIC.

My company is a small concern with 6-7 ESIC-insured individuals. We are involved in trading medicines and not in manufacturing. I would like to know if it is necessary for us to maintain an Accident book under ESIC Regulation 66.

Hello Everyone, I don't understand why, if the ESIC registration is online, they have come up with declaration forms again?

Hi, I think this is for our records because when we register employees on the ESIC website, it is also necessary to have records and acceptance from the employees themselves.
