Dreaming of an HR Career in the Airforce? Seeking Advice on Qualifications and Next Steps

I have completed a BE in Mechanical (2008) and an MBA in HR (2010). Presently, I am working with an MNC as an HR Executive (Generalist) for the past 8 months. I am looking forward to establishing myself in the Airforce in the HR/Admin domain. What are the minimum educational qualifications/maximum age requirements? What should be my action plan? Kindly advise. I have searched through the internet but have been unable to find a proper solution. Please help!

Dear Arun, I would suggest getting into the Air Force in an officer grade; a technical entry can be the best fit for you, subject to other terms (education, age, SSB, etc.). For various entries, you can view the above-mentioned web address as rightly suggested by Giridhar. Later on, you can try to get into SSB/CDA/AHQ Personal wing through specific courses and successful completion of them. Government organizations altogether need a different approach and not just another job hopping.

Thank you for your kind responses! But the maximum age limit seems to be 25-26 years (as found on the Air Force website). I am already 25 now. How should I prepare myself? Will there be any vacancies for experienced individuals? How do I move forward? Advice.

No Arun, there is no age relaxation in defense services except for war widows/kin. If you are above the age for general administration/engineers entry, then you can try their education/legal/judicial entries where the age, I assume, is close to 30+ years to make an entry. However, you need to be qualified as a PG/LLB/LLM graduate and also need to clear an SSB.
