Effective Weekly Off Management and Employee Attendance Compliance Discussion

Hi Bhartendu,

Regarding your query, if an employee's supervisor has not marked any weekly off in a whole month, even though the employee was fully present except on Sundays or days off, can we consider the employee as absent?

You can confirm and ask for advance information about the weekly off for the employees.

Nowadays, even banks are working 7 days a week. Normally, the bank will deploy only 50% of the staff on Sundays. They will schedule Monday for 1/3 of the staff, Tuesday for 1/3 of the staff, and Wednesday for 1/3 of the staff, giving off those who were present on Sunday. You can also plan the schedule of the weekly off for the employees in a similar manner. In case of any deviation, employees must obtain prior written permission from their supervisor and submit the same to the HR Department.
