Choosing a topic depends upon what you want to do, the guide that you can find and the access that you can get to do primary research. If you would like to do PhD later, then the scope available to add to the knowledge bank. Hence, my sincere advice is do a literature survey and then see what you feel passionate about.
I doubt whether people will give a copy of their MPhil thesis. Please see my thread on Research Methodology
