Who Should I Address Cheque Payments for PT, PF, and ESI To? Seeking Guidance

Respected Sir/Madam, I want to know to whom the cheque payment of PT, PF, and ESI should be addressed.

It is mentioned by Madhu TK ji on Cite HR that the payment details will be included in the notice itself. The payment is to be made to the concerned Secretary of the Gram Panchayat, Municipality, or the Corporation where the establishment is set up. The payment of EPF should be made to S.B.I. A/C EPF (YOUR EPF CODE), and the payment for ESIC should be made to S.B.I. A/C NO. 1 (YOUR ESI CODE).

The contributions towards PF and ESI should be paid in State Bank of India only. What you have to do is fill up the prescribed challan under the schemes and present the same at the Bank along with a cheque favoring "yourself towards PF contributions / ESI contributions". It is crucial to have a bank account with SBI for this purpose. If you present a cheque from another bank, the paid challan may only be collected after your cheque amount is realized.

You must follow up immediately to collect the paid challans from the bank; otherwise, there is a chance of losing your challans.
