Navigating Pension Claims: Which Forms Do I Need After 9.5 Years of Service?

bcarya
Hello Everybody, I want to know one thing, so please help me. If an employee has a length of service of more than 9 years and 6 months, then he/she is eligible for a pension. So, if he/she leaves the service after that period, do I have to fill out Form 19 and 10C both, or only Form 19? Also, which form should be filled for the pension claim? Thank you.

Provident Fund and Pension Forms

Form 19 is meant for the Provident Fund, and Form 10C is for the Pension. You have to fill out both forms and submit them to your employer. The forms should be submitted to the PF office through the employer with the company seal and the signature of an authorized person.

Thank you, sir. I would like to know what the procedure would be to claim the PF certificate if the worker has not left and is still working in the organization.

If the length of service is more than 9.5 years, where the Date of Joining (DoJ) of the employee is after the year 1995, then Form 10D is required, not 10C. In Form 10D, there is a provision to obtain the Pension Certificate. Please fill out Form 10D completely and submit it to the appropriate authority; you will receive the Pension Certificate.

Regards.
