Can I Withdraw My EPF While Still Working at Gap Inc.? Seeking Guidance on the Process and Timeline

Hi Team, I'm an employee of Gap Inc. and have been with the company for more than 5 years now. I need to know if it's possible to withdraw EPF even while I'm working with the same organization. If yes, then what is the process of doing so, and how long does it generally take?

You may apply for the withdrawal of the EPF balance amount in your account using Form-31. This is permissible only after 7 years of service for reasons such as education, marriage of children, building of a house, etc. There is no time limit for withdrawal on medical grounds. The total balance amount of the employee's share only may be withdrawn.
