Navigating Delays in Relieving and Experience Letter Issuance from MNCs

techiesguy
Hi guys,

I was working with an MNC for the last 5 years. I left the organization 1.5 months ago. I'm trying to get my Relieving Letter/Experience Letter since then, but they haven't sent me the documents yet. I'm planning to write a letter to the HR Director and the MD. Can anybody send me a format? What legal options do I have? Thanks in advance, guys...

Hello,

Have you completed your final relieving formalities such as serving the notice period of the company and submitting any company properties in your possession? If yes, they should provide you with your relieving letter on your last working day itself. Please clarify this matter for us.

Hello techiesguy,

Based on your posting, you have at least 5 years of experience, and that too in an MNC. If anyone came to you with the same query that you asked without any details/background which Vani asked, would you have responded, let alone suggested what to do?

I know this could hurt you, but the fact of the matter is: persons with such an experience level that you seem to have ought not to even invite such situations where he/she is asked the queries that Vani asked. When one asks a query, it's expected that the full, complete, and relevant inputs are given while asking. Freshers/entry-level members could be understood if they didn't.

Please give the inputs Vani asked, and I am sure many members of CiteHR would suggest well.

Regards,
TS

Thank you for the replies, guys.

I have completed all the formalities, which include submitting the company properties and notice period. This situation arose because the CEO was on leave for 15 days when I left. HR promised that they would send the details to the mailing address once the CEO is back. However, they now say that the CEO is not signing it for some reasons.

What steps can I take in this situation?
