New to Factory Work: How Do I Update the Attendance Register in the System?

Hr21Admin
Hi, I recently joined a factory. Every morning, the security supervisor gives me the attendance register. What should I do with it? Could someone please provide me with a format to update the attendance in the system? Thank you.

Attendance Systems for Accurate Employee Tracking

There are various systems available in the market, such as Thumb, Access, and Face Detector, which can help in stopping proxy attendance and provide the exact timing of in/out for each employee. This attendance can be integrated with the payroll system, and salary will be calculated as per rules defined by the system.

Attendance Register is coming to you, which means you have to maintain the Employee Attendance. I wonder how you can ask us what you have to do. You are working with an HR Department, and you must be aware of what an Attendance Register is and what you have to do with it. If no one has assigned you this task, you can speak to your supervisor/senior/boss about it first.

I have attached a document that will help you in maintaining the Attendance Register, and you can also search on Google for more information on attendance registers. If you know how to use MS Access, you can download a program for this as well.

Best of Luck

Purpose of the Attendance Register

The purpose of the attendance register is to store the employees' sign-in and sign-out times individually. With this information, we can determine whether the employee has worked the total required working hours. Companies use different forms for this purpose.

Here, I am attaching the format that I am using in my company. This is only for your basic understanding. You can make modifications according to your company's requirements.
