Feeling Overwhelmed by Statutory Compliance in My New Role – Can You Help?

lokeshsharma9
Hi, all citehr members, I want your help, suggestions, and support urgently. Actually, I am going to join a new company in the coming days. I myself will look after all matters of the company like HR, ADMIN, and Statutory Compliances. I can independently handle all HR and Admin matters and job responsibilities. I was handling all Statutory Compliance issues with my colleague in the last company. However, in this new company, I have to manage all Statutory Compliances by myself independently. I am afraid of making mistakes.

Therefore, my request to all of you is to please send me a reply and attachments of files that provide valuable information about Statutory Compliance, such as:

1) When, where, which returns, and challans we have to send?
2) What is the due date and what documents we have to attach?
3) What functions do I have to manage in Statutory Compliance?

I am very nervous, so please help me soon. I am eagerly waiting for your reply. I would be very thankful to all of you.

Regards,
LOKESH

This is not the time to be scared of these things, but to learn and understand all about them. Now that you know what you are going to handle, you first have to make a to-do list for yourself. Take this as an opportunity for you; consider it an assignment or project for you.

Steps to Prepare for Statutory Compliance

First, you need to make a list of what you have to do and what not to do.
- You need to conduct a search for every possible piece of information regarding Statutory Compliance.
- You need to have knowledge about the required documents and other statutory requirements.
- You can utilize old records and the databank from your new employer.
- You can seek help from your seniors.

Secondly, as Mr. Sethupathy has provided you with some details and formats, consider this your first step in obtaining the formats and information. However, you also need to conduct your own research. Use resources like research tools and Google to delve deeper into the subject.
