Hi Ratan,

Welcome to Citehr.com. I would suggest that instead of asking us for training topics, you should speak to the respective managers of various teams; it would be highly effective. This way, you would know what skills are lacking in employees and what trainings can be used. This GAP analysis would give you higher results.

However, the following are commonly identified training needs:

Managerial: Time Management, Leadership Development, Pareto Principle, FEMA, Conflict Management, Email Etiquette, Team Building, Effective Planning...

From a marketing perspective, the following trainings may help: Negotiation Skills, Communication Skills, Consulting with a positive approach, body language, Goal Setting, etc.

All the best!

Savitha

Hi,

Even I have the same need, i.e., training for all levels of employees, starting from workers to ED.

I would appreciate it if someone could guide us.

Hi Chiragi,

The identification process can be done in many ways.

1. Your appraisal results can help identify the training needs.
2. Managers of the team should do their best to help.
3. Talk to employees. Sit with them. Ask them what problems they face while handling the team in all aspects - technically, managerially, and behaviorally. Then, accordingly, you would need to track a trainer - whether in-house or external - and plan as per the sanctioned budget. Identify idle time of the team and schedule the training.

One should make employees understand the significance of such training; only then will they learn properly and appreciate your efforts. You may also ask employees if they would like any specific training to be conducted for them; usually, they show interest. Make sure to provide practical-based training and avoid bombarding them with theories. Include good games and exercises.

Have a nice day,

Savitha
