New HR in IT Needs Urgent Help with KRA and KPI for Departments – Any Advice?

Dear Seniors, I have recently joined an IT Company as an HR, where they have assigned me the task of working on KRA & KPI for each department of the organization. Previously, I was working in an NGO, so I did not have the opportunity to delve into this topic.

I kindly request your assistance in helping me formulate the KRA & KPI for each department. I have been given very little time to complete this task, and I am not well-versed in this area. Your valuable suggestions and guidance would greatly help me in accomplishing this task.

Though I am not from the IT industry, let me give some fair ideas on KRAs. KRAs shall be covered under the following heads:

Financial
- Setting goals for revenue and spending.

Process
- Setting goals on cost minimization, process control, etc.

Operation
- Setting goals on delivery, time schedule, targets, etc.

People
- Setting goals on training subordinates.

KPIs shall be in measurable parameters. SMART methods may be used.

However, I wanted to mention that I really don't have much idea about this topic, and my organization has given me a few points that should be taken into consideration while framing the KPA and KPI for each department of my organization. These points are as follows: Win, Team, Execute, and Innovation.
