Hi seniors, one of my friends has left his job after 3 months. His company was deducting the pf contribution from his salary. Can he withdraw his PF contribution? If yes then what is the procedure? And which form he has to fill up? Please suggest. He was working in the Delhi branch of a Mumbai based company.
Thanks and regards

Dear All,

I was worked in Pvt. co. as Account Executive for 3 yrs. i was pregnant n i gave my maternity leave application when i was 4months pregnancy. asking for 3month leave & allowance but co. told there is no allowance there is no policy for allowance in their company. n u can join after 3 months. since in this office iam alone the employee n head office located in Hyderabad.now i completed my 3 months maternity leave but when iam ready to join they told me there is no vacancy. when i demand for notice salary they neglected n later requested then they agree to give only one month. before i gone maternity leave on March 2011 they gave my salary, bonus then i requested to give atleast 2 months maternity allowance but they gave one month allowance.

Now please suggest me will i eligible for maternity allowance

and notice salary because without giving notice they told me that there is no vacancy whenever we have we call u

and also they send to me PF withdrawl form for my request.

later i told my employer if u agree to give me 2 months notice salary then only i will give resignation.

please suggest in this matter what the law says n what shall i can do

Dear Piyush Ji,
I would suggest that you recommend your friend not to close this PF account but to continue it whenever he takes up another job. That will give him full benefits of employer contribution, pension fund etc. Please consider this option. If he has already opened another account in the new firm, please tell him to get it merged with the old account and continue only the previous account. Thanks & regards,
