Urgent Help Needed: Can You Share Notes on Cross-Cultural and Global Management for MBA Exams?

Hi all, my sister is currently in the fourth semester of her MBA in HR, and her exams are ongoing. She is in need of notes on cross-cultural and global management. Could someone kindly provide the answers to the questions in the attached file? Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

This is urgent as her exam is scheduled for the 10th of July. Your prompt assistance is highly valued.

Your sister should be in the library researching this material and not expecting others to provide the answers on a plate. Part of the MBA process, as I understand it, is to test a student's ability to research and synthesize the relevant information. If she does not do the work, how does she expect to pass? If she has problems with the work, she needs to discuss this with her tutor/professor sooner rather than later.

If we provide the answers, all your sister will try to do is "mug it up and spit it out." That will do no good to her understanding of the topics or improving her thinking skills. Do you not think you are expecting a lot from the members here? I wonder whether she has asked you to post the message or you are doing it on your own without her knowledge.

I have seen the three files; though there are 24 questions in all, many of the themes are repeats with slight changes in the wording or the scenario. The appropriate approach that would be appreciated, and would receive positive responses, would be for your sister to write an answer and post that for critical and constructive comments. As John has pointed out, it's your sister that has to do the work.

Here's my suggestion for your sister. Please request your sister to research and prepare a set of answers that she finds right, and then debate on it within her study circle. Generally, students avoid sharing through such modes of learning. But if she can find one where she can effectively debate on the points, it would take her understanding far beyond studying on her own.

Here are some thoughts shared by Samvedan: "A very general question! Notes on cross-cultural and global management are not as simple as they may appear. However, permit me to share some insights. In all our work executions, there are many variables. I choose just two for this purpose: 'Knowledge of Subject' and the 'People Factor.' The first one relies on concepts, tools, and techniques, and the second one also relies on similar factors. However, in both cases, the influence that a given culture exerts must be understood and digested before being practiced. Our assumptions about people, their behavior - individual and collective - determine the ways to handle this resource. In the knowledge of the subject, the problem is not too severe.

Understanding hierarchies, customs, values, and concepts of right and wrong, fair and unfair, all matter. Due to space limitations, suffice it to say that understanding the culture of the region is the beginning of learning how to deal with people and situations. This is an approach that cannot be avoided!"
