Worried About Job Prospects After Termination: Can I Be Blacklisted?

I was working with an MNC as a fresher. I was on a probation period, but I, along with other friends, was asked to leave the company because the process had been migrated. Although I received my salary and a relieving letter from the company.

Later, after a few months, I joined another MNC, and due to some personal reasons, I haven't replied to their notice. According to them, I have been terminated from the services. Will this affect my ability to find jobs elsewhere? I am very tense and worried. I have heard that they may put me on a blacklist, and if I apply for further employment elsewhere, no one will hire me. Please help me with this. 

First of all, the query is incomplete. I did not understand the whole scenario. You left your first company because the manager asked you to do so as the project got migrated, right? And then you joined another company and left without intimating them, and hence without serving the notice period. They sent you a notice, and you did not reply, and now you are marked as absconding. I hope this is the scenario you wanted to explain.

Now the answer: We have been discussing these issues for a long time now. You guys do not treat your career seriously and then play with companies and your career by not exiting the company in a proper manner. Hence, such problems are encountered. There are no fast remedies to help you out of the situation. You can try going back to the previous employer and talk it out - that can probably help. Make sure you do not repeat such mistakes in the future. Things are really going to get difficult in the future with improved technology. One can get blacklisted.

So beware, take your career seriously, and start improvising.

Thank you for the reply, Ma'am. I didn't inform my second company about my exit due to personal reasons. Although I received a termination letter and a full settlement cheque from the company, I am unsure whether this will affect me if I search for another job.
