Query on Stopping ESIC Contribution Mid-Session

I want to know what the procedure is to stop the ESIC contribution of an employee from the mid-session if the salary of an employee is increased in the middle of the session due to an increment. The employee was under ESIC coverage before the increment but now falls out of the ESIC range. Can I stop the ESIC contribution of that employee from this month, meaning 1st June 2011?

I request all to please provide me with knowledge about this.

Thanks,

Regards,

Yeah Munish, as we all know, the wage ceiling for ESI contribution is up to 15,000. Of course, an employee will be out of coverage from ESI due to an increment, and a company has to show online that this employee is out of coverage. When you indicate that this employee is now out of coverage, they will ask you for the employee's last working day. In that case, you have to provide the date of his/her last contribution.

Clarification on ESIC Contribution

Kindly clarify, is it enough to stop paying contributions as soon as the salary reaches above ₹15,000/- or do we have to pay it until the contribution period ends, i.e., up to September or up to March?
