Which Is Better Naukri Or Monster ?..Please Help

bard52
Dear All,

I have started a New Hr Consultancy and I find it very difficult to choose a Database Service Provide, So please advise me on what I should be doing, and also I am opting for the Annual Subscription. I also want to share some info I collected about Naukri and Monster.

Naukri
  1. It was started way back in 1997 and everybody seems to know the brand.
  2. They are not providing flexible payment options and also the Premium Service limits your access to just 50,000 Resumes a year.
  3. They have good website traffic as per Alexa.
Montser
  1. They started in the year 2004 and only employed and urbane people seem to know the brand better.
  2. They are providing very flexible payment options and unlimited access of resumes.
  3. They are behind web Traffic when compared with Naukri.
Personally I like the User Experience of Monster but I am a bit confused as lot of people seem to favour Naukri (I am referring to the people I met in the business and also in different review site). I find CiteHR to be the best HR community forum for Companies and Consultancy, Please advise me on what I should be doing?...Thank You in Advance

Dear bard52,
Greetings!!!
The main difference between Naukri and Monster is very simple. In Naukri first the foremost thing is Brand name. you can see in Many MNC and Big companies they register their database in Naukri than Monster or Times Jobs.
Another important thing is they have Unlimited Data base while comparing to other you can see many companies and consultancies register with them
if you take in Monster it is user friendly or employer friendly moreover easy to understand. Price too it is bearable
But if you need good data base of candidates go for Naukri best wherever you go you can see people Prefer more Naukri than others.
So keep in mind which one is more Productive and take decision. Hope it will be useful
All the best

Dear Bard,
As per my opinion, Naukri is good for sourcing relevant profiles for any position depending on seniority, but yes they are very expensive. If you can bear the cost, then you should undoubtedly go for Naukri.
Monster is better for sourcing very senior profiles, or for international profiles. Moreover it is less expensive compared to Naukri.
Now you have to decide which one to opt for based on your requirements.

Thank you varsha and indrani for passing on your views about the above discussed subject. But I am bit disappointed on the lack of response from others who didn't care to leave their take on the above discussed subject. Anyways..thanks again..words of a broken startup Consultant :(

CareerScenario
Hello You All!!
Myself Amit Kumar and I'm also running own Recruitment Services company. It is very difficult to bear the massive expenses of Naukri resume database access services, but they have genuine as well. Recently, they launched new products for employers which is too costly than earlier prices. I have also gone through Monster and finds a little bit cheaper than Naukri but still I wouldn't like to spend more money in vain.
I'm also confused a little bit where I have to go. Naukri charges are too costly.
I know the current market scenario but if someone will suggest me for the same then I'll really oblige for them here.
