If a company director is a salaried employee and an NRI from Japan, and he has social security in Japan, can he get an exemption in PF? How can we obtain information from PF?

If an employee is working in India as an expatriate or international worker, they must contribute to PF regardless of whether their salary is paid from India or their home country if a bilateral agreement has not been signed between the two nations. In this case, India has not signed a bilateral agreement with Japan, so the employee must contribute to PF based on their salary.

Thank you.
