Calculating Compensation for a 35-Year-Old's Permanent Disability: Need Help!

suparna_22
Can anyone please help me in calculating compensation under the act where a workman aged 35 years meets with an accident resulting in permanent total disablement? His wage at the time of the accident was 5500/- per month. What will be the compensation payable to him?

The relevant factor is pre-decided, and it is part of the Schedule of the Act.

Please note that the Workmen's Compensation Act has now been changed. It is known as the Employee Compensation Act.

I hope the calculator provided by Mr. Jawed Alam has cleared the doubts of the thread starter. Overall, it was a good discussion, and I have benefited from it. Thank you all for sharing, and let's keep up the pace.

Dear Sir,

Please find attached the file on age factors. It will be helpful and is for your reference. Before this, I had replied; it was just an example for calculation. Minimum wages differ for each state.
