Let me explain the cost of recruitment. The costs involved in the recruitment activities are as follows:

- Telephone charges for contacting the candidates
- Conversion of recruitment coordinators' man-hours into costs
- Panel members' costs (i.e., if there are 3 members on the panel, you need to calculate 3 hours' salary for each staff member)
- Conveyance reimbursement for the candidates (even if only one person is selected, expenses reimbursed for all candidates who attended the interview must be considered)
- If you are sourcing through a placement consultant, you need to include the professional charges of the agency in the recruitment cost.

Every ratio has two components, a numerator and a denominator. Thus, without clearly knowing what these two are, it's like asking "How long is a piece of string?" or "How do I get to New Delhi?"

1. Hourly salaries of interviewers (HRs and technical interviewers).
2. Transport and other facility costs of candidates.
