Challenges Faced by IT Professional in DBA Job Market: Job Offer Delays and Industry Trends

Dear all,

I am currently working as a DBA for over 3 years. I have interviewed with top players in the IT industry. I was shortlisted and was told I would be given the offer letter, but I didn't receive any. This has happened at least twice with different companies. They shortlist me and assure me that I will receive an offer letter, but it never materializes. When I follow up with them, they mention that the position is on hold or assure me that I will receive it tomorrow. However, nothing has happened up until now. I am really worried and frustrated. What could be the reason for this delay?

It has been months now, and I am not receiving any interview calls either. Are DBA jobs disappearing?

Don't be disheartened; this happens in life. Be strong. I'm wondering about that company which says they will send you the offer tomorrow and does not respond; this is not right! You can demand an explanation; prefer it in writing.
