I need your help in making a salary structure in our company according to the skills and experience. We are a small offshore software company. The present scenario is that we give a person a hike on his current salary, say 15-25%. However, due to this, there has been a major disparity between the salaries of employees. Now, we want to create a salary structure.
Kindly assist by providing some insight into the salary structures of other IT companies at the same level. We are facing problems such as: What will be the standard structure for employees with 1 year in the company if we hired them as a trainee on a stipend of 8k? We have skills in PHP, .NET, C, VB, etc. What would be the standard salary for these skills?
In terms of appraisals, we have a half-yearly appraisal policy with a range of 10% to 30%. Normally, I need the standard salary structure to be implementable to avoid attrition.
