Hi Seniors,
I am working one of US based multinational company. I have just complete my one year tenure in this organization. after my joining i have reduce IR problems as well as T & D in the organization. Implement Employee benefit schemes etc....
My reporting is directly to the Director HR who sit in the US and she is very much happy with my performance but recently she left the organization and my reporting to the directly to the CFO.
Now the problem is i complete my one year tenure and time is for reward but i am confused that how i can express my self in front of CFO that i need an Increment?
Please suggest how i will proceed this one in decent manner so that he can take this thing positive manner.

Hello Ketul,
You should have taken some sort of a Appreciation Letter/Mail from the Director-HR before she left. This would have given you a good way to handle the issue.
In the present context, maybe you can send a polite mail to the CFO enquiring if you will be eligible for any increment since you have completed 1 year--which is different from 'asking' for it. Also, you can summarize your efforts/achievements since the time you joined in a few lines.
Here I presume it's your company policy to give increments after 1 year of joining.
Also, suggest wait for other members to respond.

Hi Ketul,
Generally an HR director would have organised such things before exiting the company, but without knowing the reasons of her leaving it would be not appropriate to comment on that part.
If you have a company policy for yearly increments (which most companies have), i guess then you need not worry about the same, and if you presume that nothing is happening then you can surely send a mail as suggested by TS.
