Seeking Guidance on Professional Tax Enrollment in Andhra Pradesh: Steps and Requirements?

First of all, glad to meet you all here. I am working as an Accountant and Admin HR in a software company. Here, I am responsible for overseeing payroll-related matters in this organization.

I am seeking information regarding professional tax in Andhra Pradesh. Before paying professional tax, do I need to obtain a certificate of enrollment from the professional tax authority? If yes, how can I do that, what applications need to be filled, where should those documents be submitted, and how long does it take to receive the enrollment certificate? Please guide me in this regard.

Hi,

Please find attached a copy of the Return of Tax Payable by Employer Monthly Form-V with AP Tax slab rates mentioned. Before this, your company should enroll under the nearby DCTO, and they will allot a PTINumber with a certificate (Form -1C - registration certificate). Consulting the nearby Commercial Tax Office will provide the complete procedure.
