Understanding ESIC Contribution Limits: What Happens if Your Salary Exceeds Rs 15,000?

Hi seniors, can anybody clarify for me whether one should cross the salary limit of ESIC contribution of Rs 15,000 per month between the contribution periods? Will the contribution continue until the end of the contribution period or stop? Can I have a copy of the Act or notification regarding this?

If an employee crosses the ESI salary limit during the contribution period, ESI still needs to be deducted until the contribution period ends.

Hi friend, ESIC is applicable for conveyance if it is paid on a fixed basis. However, if you only paid it on the present date, it is not necessary to deduct the ESIC.
