Dear Ms. Sowmya, I am glad to hear that you are interested in social service and related activities. I would like to raise a few queries in this regard:
1. Have you registered and formed a trust, stating the activities you wish to perform under its banner?
2. Social service - what kind of activities do you wish to offer?
3. Area - you must be aware that 80-90% of India (rural including semi-urban areas) needs development.
4. Have you studied the existing NGOs in India and their modus operandi? You will also find NGOs who are minting money in the name of social service.
5. Do you have a budget for the services you want to offer?
Kindly remember one thing, "No one can fulfill human needs as their expectations are limitless/endless." It's better to come up with a "plan of activities" that can truly benefit humans. I prefer educating somebody, setting up a small clinic or a 25-50 bed hospital, and creating employment opportunities rather than just donating money that has no use.
Please encourage humans to work hard to earn their bread and butter instead of feeding them for free.
Please feel free to share your views with me, if you wish to.
With profound regards,
