PF Transfer [Thread 339635]

Dear All,
Please let me know the procedure for PF transfer. Is it possible to transfer PF amount in present company without doing any formalities from previous employer?

Prachi,
Your filled Form No 13, and get the signature of your previous employer and submitted in epf deptt. if your employer don't signature on your form then write a application to enforcement officer in epf deptt.

There is no any place to get the signature of previous employer while filling the form 13.

Mr. Shoaib Rahman is right there is no need to get the signature of previous employer. You can attast the form to present employer after that you can submit in pf office.

Dear Prachi,
You have to fill up form 13 in triplicate and submit it to PF office.
It may take 03 months for such fund transfer.
You don't have to take the signature of your previous employer.

There is no need to get the signature of the previous employer. You just fill form 13(R) and send to pf authorities through the present employer. The epf authorities will get the information regarding previous remittances in form 3A from the previous employer. Your accumulations in previous account will be transferred to the present account.

You have to suggest to fill up the form 13 to get the PF amount transfer without any cutting and submit to present employer.

you have said that after submitting filled and countersigned by the present employer form 13R is to be submitted to PF authorities, then they shall send form 3A to the previous employer. please let me know
(i) can it be transferred to other state
(ii) will PF authorities tell the previous employer about my current employement details
(iii) what is the justified time frame to apply through form 13R {say after 45days / 90days of joining the new employer}
(iv) the max time for fund transfer is not greater than 3 months ?

Thank you so much for valuable information , but I have filled form no. 13 signed by my present employer,bur at PF office they are asking for Form 3A. Is I have to attach form no 3A from present employer?
