How Can I Transition from Consultancy to Direct Client Work as a Freelancer Recruiter?

freelancerconsultant
Hi All, I am new to this site. I need some info regarding freelancer recruitment. Actually, due to some reason, I can't opt for a full-time job in recruitment, and I started working as a freelance recruiter (I have 4+ years of experience in recruitment (IT/ITES)). A few consultancies approached me, and I started working with them, but now I feel that I should approach clients directly. Please suggest!

How to Approach Clients Directly

Also, how can I approach them?

What were your experiences with consultancies that make you think of approaching clients directly?

Thanks for the reply, Tajsateesh. Firstly, they are paying very little, and secondly, I feel as if they are not taking freelancers seriously. I am working on IT positions with a consultancy, and I forwarded around 2-3 resumes for a required position. It's been a week, and they haven't approached any of my candidates. Moreover, they are not ready to disclose any details of the client (client name, salary, etc.). For me, it's very difficult to source candidates.

Hi all, I need your suggestions, please. Let me know how much we can charge from an MNC if we are working with them as a freelancer, and also how to approach them. Do we have to work on their requirements first, or do we have to send a proposal first? What are the terms and conditions that should be considered?
