infosys
Dear Fraternity,

Hi, my name is Gopinath. Currently, I am working in a manufacturing concern in Tamil Nadu. Here, my management is insisting on starting a newsletter in Tamil. If anyone has a design, templates, or a model newsletter in Tamil, kindly forward them to me. Also, please provide a lot of inputs about the newsletter content and suggest a name for the newsletter.

Regards,
Gopinath J.

Wishing you great success on your new accomplishment. Your first newsletter can begin with a message from your MD. It should also explain the development of your company from the beginning. You can introduce long-serving employees as well. Additionally, the newsletter can cover the events of your company over two issues, either monthly or quarterly. You can use it to inform about important occasions in your employees' lives, such as marriages. Introduce new employees or those who have been promoted, depending on the size of your company's staff. Also, introduce your valuable customers to your employees.

I hope you receive a lot of feedback on this, and if you search, you can find a lot of information regarding this. Think innovatively, and once again, I wish you success in your new job.

Regards,

Ideas for Newsletter Content

Here are a few aspects you can consider including in the newsletter:

• List of new joiners.

• Names of employees who have gotten married.

• Names of employees who have newborns.

• Interview senior leaders and have them share about their personal side, such as past achievements, hobbies, philosophy of life, toughest work situations faced and how they overcame them, ways they stay updated, qualities they believe are essential for professional success, and their hobbies. You can also include a family group photo.

• Identify if any of your employees have special talents like poetry, theatre, arts, or crafts. Highlight any state-level, national, or international awards or recognitions they have received.

• Extend the recognition to your employees' spouses and children as well.

• Choose one aspect of your business to demystify. For example, if your IT department has launched new software for tracking goods movement, elaborate on it.

These are a few ideas that I could think of. Wishing you all the very best.

Cheers,

Chandru
