Navigating Probation: How Much Notice Should I Give If I Want to Resign Early?

I joined the organization in July. As per company rules, all new employees need to complete 240 working days, after which they will be confirmed. If I want to resign from my position, how many days' notice should I give to the company?

Notice period varies from 30 days to 90 days according to the company policy and designation (Position). Please go through the clause of "Notice period" in your appointment letter and you can serve the notice period accordingly.

As of today, you are a confirmed employee of your organization. According to your company's HR policy, which may also be mentioned in your offer letter, you are required to complete the specified notice period. The HR policy concerning the notice period can vary from one organization to another. It can range from 1 month to 3 months, or even more in some companies. For accurate information, you should consult your HR department or refer to your offer letter.

If you wish to request a waiver of your notice period from your supervisor or employer, and they agree, you may leave the organization without serving the full notice period.
