Enrol New Employees

Dear all
I am working with NGO in HR Department. We have various employee benefit policies like Gratuity (with LIC), GSLI (with LIC), Accident Policy(with New India Assurance), EL En cashment (with LIC) policies etc.. My question is when should I enrol new employee in above policies, from joining date or from our renewal date of policies. Please inform me.

ideally from joining dates, coz something happens in the interrugnum, the benefits may not reach the employee and the company have to compensate. btw, the accident policies are not containing the names of employees and it is a group policy.

Enrollment form date of joining is a right way. If you have taken a group insurance policy in lieu of EDLI you should intimate to the concern company on the joining of the employees.

No need to wait for policy renewal you can add them while they joined in your organisation. Especially accident policy is must for every employee from joining date itself. So dont wait lets enroll them.
