Contract Labour Act: Are There Industries Where Contract Labour Is Not Allowed?

I would like to know if, under the Contract Labour Act, there is any rule in the Act that states contract labour cannot be employed in certain industries. If so, in what industries? Alternatively, is there a specific list of industries where contract labour can be employed? The Act states that one cannot employ contract labour for perennial work.

Contract Labour Act: Provisions and Restrictions

In the Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act, there is no provision that prohibits contract labour in any kind of "industry." However, Section 10 empowers the authorities under the Act to prohibit the engagement of contract labour in core areas of activities that are perennial in nature and can be carried out by full-time regular workers. Can somebody tell me about the Contract Act? We have four contractors, and all contractors have no workmen; they are working on our premises according to the piece-rate system. Each of the four contractors hands over a monthly bill which consists of a monetary value of approximately ₹25,000 per bill. Except for these four contractors, none have a PF and ESI number. How can we deduct the ESI and PF amounts from the payment of the bill? Please help me out. You can also reach me via email at [Email Removed For Privacy Reasons].
