Hi folks,
Whats up! Hope you are doing well.I feel good when I see enormous interest for VNA. I have been a VNA trainer and a speech therapist from past 7 years and specialize in (pure American Accent, Scottish and Australian). From my experience I would like to share something.Friends, First of all you got learn the difference between accent and pronunciation.Topics like "phonetics", "Stress Patterns", "intonation" etc..they come under Pronunciation,Accent on the other hand includes all of these in addition there is lot more.Stuffs like Music Pattern, Rubber Band exercise. Duh..Duh Duh Sound practise and lot many.By learning topics such as "Phonetics" "Syllables" "Syllable Stress" "Sentence stress" "Intonation" you mind produce some sounds. But to sound like a Native speaker completely these topics are not just enough. It requires lot many concepts and techniques to be learnt. A complete coverage of any particular accent needs at least 4 months(if you are really serious) (excluding accent neutralisation and accent assessment).I would like to help any one out there in terms of knowledge , training, materials etc. Fell free to call me any time. But don't forget to mention the site and purpose before you call through an sms.

Warm Regards,
Shakespeare
