Can anyone provide me with details about what psychometric tests can be used for the recruitment of fresh trainees?

Hello, you may use PI (Predictive Index) psychometric testing, available from Thomas profiling. This can be utilized for employees at all levels.

Dear Mr. Mohan,

As a trainer, it is not mandatory for you to acquire leadership skills or management. "A skill is meant to be demonstrated but not owned."

- You need to understand human psychology (attitude, behavior) and all traits/skills that differentiate human beings themselves.
- Your objective for being a trainer will define what skills you need to acquire.

With profound regards,

Dear Mates! In that case, make it as an HR professional instead of a Corporate Trainer and contribute to the same question.

As a corporate HR trainer/professional, training on leadership would fall within your scope. In fact, leadership is an art that is required at every level and in every field. An understanding of human psychology would be essential to do justice to HR functions and their training.

Hi Mohan, I just came across another tool that I feel best suits your requirements. It's known as BEI (Behavioral Event Interviews). This is a mix of Psychology and Human Resource Management. There are agencies in Pune that offer this certification program; you may want to Google this and check it out.

Being a Corporate HR Trainer: Leadership or Management?

Hi, being a Corporate HR Trainer, one should have qualities of both Leadership and Management. While imparting training, the trainer has to engage participants to be successful.

Dear Mohan Shashank, you have put a very interesting discussion across. In my view, leadership and management are like a railway track; they never meet but are useless without each other. One complements the existence of the other and makes the train run smoothly. Human resource management draws a lot of cues from psychology. For example, the theories of learning and motivation. Organizational change and behavior are no exceptions; defense mechanisms, stress, and others are concepts very relevant to human psychology.

For further discussion, any one concept may be chosen and discussed in detail.

Cheers, Vijayalaxmi

Dear Mr. Mohan, I apologize for not getting back to you sooner. I find the topic you have raised, the intersection of Psychology and HR, to be very intriguing.

Given the stress and pressure of work, diverse demographic characteristics, increasing employer and employee expectations, and other contributing factors, a new course has been introduced - Corporate Psychology. This course aims to enhance the management of employees within corporations. By obtaining more details on this course, you can gain insight into the various subjects it covers and their practical application in the industry.

To further our discussion, I suggest focusing on a specific topic within this subject matter, rather than attempting to cover the entire breadth of the field.

I look forward to hearing your thoughts.

Dear Vijaya Lakshmi,

Greetings for the day! Thank you for participating in the discussion and enriching us with your posts. The key here is to start by generalizing our approach, as many individuals may not be familiar with specific aspects. By making the discussion more inclusive, we can engage a larger audience and create a more dynamic conversation. Subsequently, individuals like yourself can then delve into more specific topics, allowing for a deeper exploration and the incorporation of additional insights.

I have intentionally left the discussion open-ended. I hope you understand my reasoning, and together we can clarify any uncertainties.

My motivation for initiating this conversation stems from the observation that many educational institutions do not offer opportunities for individuals to study Human Psychology alongside Human Resource Management. By fostering discussions like this, we aim to enhance the knowledge and skills of our readers.

Thank you for your attention.

Best regards,
