Navigating Career Choices: How Long Should I Stay in My Current HR Role Before Moving to a Call Center?

My name is Sourabh. I am in a dilemma related to my career path. I am pursuing an MBA in HR from IMT-DLP. I am currently associated with a well-known consulting firm that is involved in recruitment, T&D, and HR consulting. The company is owned by an IIM Ahmedabad alumni. I am involved in recruitments and BD activities.

I have previously worked with call centers for 2 years and have a strong insight into call centers. Therefore, I want to pursue my career in a call center HR department. I have been working with this consultancy for the last 4 months. I am seeking advice on how long I should stay there.

Could someone provide me with a list of call centers and HR contacts in Delhi/NCR? How should I approach looking for a BPO HR job?

Hi Saurabh,

I would suggest trying to find out the names of BPOs and start applying directly. Alternatively, you can register yourself with other consultants working in the relevant field and explore opportunities through various job portals. It should not be too difficult.
