Is an Employer Required to Provide a Relieving Letter for Bonded Employees? Seeking Advice and Formats

Neha22batra
Hello seniors, can you please tell me if an employee is on a bond and is being relieved by the employer with mutual understanding, is the employer liable to issue a relieving letter? If anyone has a format of a relieving letter for bonded employees, please provide it to me. Please reply.

If the relieving is through mutual consent, the employee needs to be issued a relieving letter. The format for a relieving letter will remain the same for all employees. There is nothing specific for employees under a service bond.

It is the employer's responsibility to issue a service certificate to each and every employee upon leaving the organization, even after termination.
