Starting HR in a New Manufacturing Company: How Do I Navigate Without Guidance?

Hi to all, I am a fresher and recently joined a manufacturing company. Here, no senior is available to guide me. This is the first time they want to start an HR department in their company. First of all, congratulations and best of luck. Sandhya, as you have joined a manufacturing company, make sure to gather all the necessary information, such as:

1. Company's previous policies, if any, the workers' tasks, company's working environment, health safety, and much more. This information will help you in formulating new policies.
2. The number of employees, the management team.
3. Outline the Human Resource Management (HRM) details with point-to-point elaboration.
4. Seek assistance from the management. You can also find several attachments here; going through them will definitely be beneficial.
