Struggling with HR Interview Questions? Let's Share Tips to Tackle Them Together

Hi, my name is Rajitha. I'm facing some minor problems in the interview where I'm unable to answer a few HR questions. Recently, I attended an interview where the HR asked me questions like:

1. Why did you choose a Consultancy and why not an MNC to work?
2. Why do you want to become an HR Executive?

These were the two questions where I faced a problem in answering. Even when I answered the questions, I'm not satisfied with the answers I gave. So please kindly help me out with a few tips on how to face such types of questions.

Please share with us the answers you have given. They may need some corrections here and there. Also, why did you choose a consultancy over an MNC? The answer can only come from you as my reasons may differ from yours.

Hi Ma'am/Sir,

Why did you choose a consultancy and why not an MNC to work? My answer to it was that the consultancy functions very differently when compared to an MNC, and there are many things we need to learn to be in HR.

Why do you want to be an HR Executive? My answer was that I like the HR profession and I enjoy taking interviews, so I chose to be an HR executive.

These were the answers I gave, but I still feel that these answers are not mature and correct for the questions. Please help me with how to face such questions.
