Dear All, Is there any law violation if the Election Day holiday is compensated with another working day in the week? I have gone through the People Representation Act Sec 135B, but nowhere is it mentioned that compensating the Election Day Holiday is illegal. Being an HR in a factory, I have to optimize production, thus can it be done?
