Dear Sir
Please inform as to what Act is applicable to your organisation i.e, whether Factories Act or Shops Act or any other Act. The answer depends on this applicability.

Dear friend
He is eligible for earned leave for the period from January to June and u have to give one day for every 20 days worked by him if he has cmpleted 66.66% attendance, for exmple if January to June number of work day was 152 and he worked 110 days then calculation will be =110/152%=72.36 then he will eligible and if he worked for 90 days then =90/152%=59.12 in this situation he will not eligible. Now you can calculate the as per working day

Dear Mr.Zakir Hussain
The rate of earned leave at one day for every twenty days is not universally applicable to all establishments. Specifically in the case of shops and establishments at least in Tamilnadu the rate of earned leave and eligibility for earned leave is different from other Acts. That is why I have asked for certain details.
