Hi fellow HR professionals, how is a salary hike usually calculated in IT companies these days? What is the hike percentage? Is a hike calculated on CTC or gross salary? What percentage of variable pay is usually given?

It's not universal policy this vary company to company because all depends upon progress of company, its profitability. Company will not give any hike if company in loss or profitability of company decreases.

3. Is a hike calculated on CTC or on gross?
This also vary company to company�

4. What % of variable pay is usually given?
Nothing is fixed�
