Facing PF Withdrawal Issues Due to Short Notice Deduction – How Can I Resolve This?

anbumagesh
I was working at the Chennai branch of a Mumbai-headquartered publishing company from November 2007 to August 2010. I resigned from my job for better career prospects, and my employer accepted my resignation, relieving me from my duties. After 60 days, I submitted my PF withdrawal form for processing. When I followed up with my employer regarding the status, I was informed that they had deducted a recovery amount for short notice from me and would not process the PF withdrawal unless it was paid.

I am seeking advice from the experts in this forum on how to proceed with withdrawing my PF. My current company does not deduct PF, and I am unable to transfer the amount due to this reason. Please suggest a way forward for this situation.

You can directly send the claim forms to PF authorities with a Gazetted officer's signature. I am enclosing the forms for your reference.

All the best,

Thank you very much for the suggestion. Since the company is live, I have been told that the PF department will send the application to the employer for attestation.
