Seeking Career Advice: Should I Pursue MLL&LW, MSW, or Invest in an SAP Course for HR Growth?

PUJA CHAKRAVORTY
Hello everyone, I have completed my PGDM in HR and have been working as an HR executive in a firm for approximately 10 months. I am seeking guidance regarding further studies.

Study Options for HR Professionals

1. Should I pursue MLL&LW or MSW?
2. Or consider taking an SAP course (which is again quite expensive)?

Or what exactly should I do to grow? Is just having a PGDM sufficient? Would you like to suggest something else?

Please guide me.

Thank you,

Puja

What interests you more, a functional role in HR or a technical role in SAP HR? If you are interested in growing in the technology sector, an SAP HR certification would be appropriate. Whereas, if you want to continue working in HR and grow as an HR Professional, a legal degree or additional certifications in compensation management and interview skills will add value.

Jobs in the technology sector are well-paying across all levels, whereas HR jobs pay well as you progress up the career ladder. The compensation further depends on the sector you work in. However, please keep in mind that technology roles would require frequent need-based upgrades. Please weigh the options and then decide accordingly.
