Dear Friends,
I have a live case study for you. Our company owns a five-member capacity car. We would like to utilize it as a cab for three of our senior managers for company purposes only. As it is difficult to manage the senior managers' demand for using the car for various reasons of their own, I would like to frame detailed policies or rules for the usage of our company car. The rules should also include the cab driver's responsibilities like maintenance, careful driving, etc. Please help me out with this.
Scenario Overview
Here is a brief idea of our scenario:
- The purpose of this facility is to reduce costs and ensure the effective utilization of the car.
- The driver will always drive the car, not any employee.
- Employees must club together their travel to avoid multiple trips.
- The car should not be utilized for personal purposes.
- The car should be used for regular pick-ups and drop-offs of officials and for official work.
- The car can make four to five trips a day.
I welcome any suggestions you may have on this matter. I hope this exercise will provide valuable input for me.
Regards,
Gaury
