Seeking Your Ideas: What Should I Cover in My Campus Interview Talk?

tanujvaid
Dear All, I am going to my engineering college to present a talk on "What to Expect in a Campus Interview." I would like to know some topics that you all can suggest for me to consider. Currently, I am working on the following topics:

- Type of Preparation
- Types of Tests/Interviews:
- Aptitude Test
- GD (Group Discussion)
- Extempore
- Technical Test/Interview
- HR Interview
- Pre-Placement Talk
- Pitfalls to Avoid
- Importance of Behavioral Skills

Please suggest some more topics, and if someone has the presentation (PPT), I would appreciate it if you could share.

Regards,
Tanuj Vaid

I find you have covered the topic very well. Here are one or two more suggestions:

- Handling telephone interviews.
- Handling the most difficult questions in an interview.
- Having some knowledge about the latest developments in their domain field.

Good luck.

Thank you, Sundarajan. I will cover the tricky questions in one of the slides. One aspect that I overlooked was the latest developments in the domain. Should I include this when discussing General Awareness, or should I dedicate a full slide to explaining the benefits of being aware of recent developments in their domain? I believe the second option is preferable.
