erichurricane
Dear Friends,

Please find attached the revised minimum wage for Gujarat effective from 1st April 2011. Though the notification is in Gujarati, here is the crux: The revised Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA) rates are as follows:

1. For Private Security Guard - Rs. 59.40 per day
2. For all other occupations (except manufacturing of incense sticks) - Rs. 39.40 per day

In short, there has been an increase of Rs. 11.00 per day in VDA for all occupations.

Thank you.

Oh, sir, what is the rate for skilled, unskilled, semi-skilled, and officer staff levels in minimum wages? The actual rate increased in the April salary.

Is VDA applicable for PF and Bonus calculation in Gujarat? i.e., is Rs. 39.40 applicable for PF & Bonus?
