Hope you are enjoying your internship and the people associated with the workplace. You have posted a very interesting query which has a significant meaning to deliver. As an intern, you want to impress your management so that they retain you after the completion of your internship. Please concentrate and understand my points:
a) "IMPRESS" is a word that gives a different kind of meaning when it comes to performance. Sometimes it does sound selfish as well.
b) I agree with Ms. Archna, as she suggested you learn and give your best. I suggest you understand yourself, know your abilities, capabilities, preferences, qualities, strengths, and weaknesses, along with those with whom you are working or about to work.
c) Gaining knowledge is not an easy task. As time passes, you'll gain knowledge as you gain hardcore experience. For example, a diamond has less value when extracted from the earth, but when one gives it a shape using creativity skills, its value grows. But again, one has to be very careful while shaping a diamond, else it will be of no value at all. Apply the same process in your life.
d) Understand the work culture, environment, and ethics of the organization, and concentrate on your project.
e) Always do good but don't expect gratitude in return.
f) Never learn how to butter up people, hypocrisy, and many more bad habits that will spoil your mind and your career.
g) Always think positively, practice a positive mental attitude, look for good in everything, gain total control, be smart, etc.
h) Take 100% responsibility for your life and never blame anybody as everyone has their own setbacks. Focus, concentrate, understand, and grow slowly, step by step.
Have a nice career and future.
With profound regards.
