I am new to this site. But there is lot to learn here. Can you pleas post the percentage of ESI deduction? Also I am sure that all employees will not come under ESI. So upto what basic you calculate ESI, and for others what are other medical benefits available in the market?

Dear padmaja,
As per E.S.I Act,1948 there are two percentages
From employee 1.75%
From Employer 4.75%
Cealing limit is Rs.15,000/- salary PM
regarding other benifits depending upon company policies, but not mandatory.

dis is suresh. pls tell me about all types of leaves ( sick, casual, matrinity ). and when it will be applicable
