A Request To CHR...

Ajmal Mirza
To All
The unanswered posts have risen to more than 900 posts... Many of these are queries by some new members who are seeking help from the community...
I am making a request to CHR, anybody who thinks that segregating Queries from Informational posts would help the members, please do put in you comments...
To CHR
This is a repetition of the previous request... which said that please do something to segregate the queries from information....
The total number of unanswered posts have reached 911... which is quite high..
I was checking the same and most of the queries have gone to the depth of more than 4-5 pages down even though they are just a couple of days old...

Hi Ajmal,

Great to have you back on the forum. Yes, the issue of unanswered posts is daunting but unfortunately the categorization of the posts will not be possible at present. There is a possible way of having the poster categorize the post when it is being made - but that too will require quite a bit of programming and modification to the software, which unfortunately I presently cannot take up because of my current projects.

As you know this is a free board and there's not enough revenue to hire people to work on the programming or the categorization of previous unanswered posts. But there are a few things coming up which may help us get some sponsors - things may become better then and I may be able to get this particular request implemented.

Another problem is that not many people spend the time to make the answer posts even when they know the answer - this is normal human psychology where everyone expects help but is not willing to help others in return. Don't know what I can do about that - there are too few members like you on the board who realize that by sharing knowledge you only gain more knowledge.

Anyways, Will let you know when I can do something about this.

Regards,

CHR

Hi CHR,

My apologies for posting this here. It is totally unrelated to the subject here. But I couldn't find any other way. I have been trying to post this on Cite sales. But it doesn't go. I have been trying to put it as a message to "webmaster", but it bounces back with the following message:

Hi. This is the qmail-send program at admin.mercuroy.com.

I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses.

This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out.

<salesnetwork@citehr.com>:

This address no longer accepts mail.

Unquote

The message is that none of the links in the cite sales posts seem to work. It goes elsewhere on to an entirely different topic in Cite HR.

Could you kindly look into this?

Thanks and Best Regards

Bala

Hello Bala,
I just checked the CiteSales website and seems to be working fine. Please try this:
Holding down SHIFT press F5 on any of the CiteSales pages. This will refresh the javascript which creates the header.
Let me know if this works.

Hi CHR,
I was referring to links from the "latest digest of messages posted on Sales And Marketing Management Community forums". The links on that still does not seem to work.
For example:
"MANAGING CUSTOMERS/ SALES in Customer Service" goes to the following page "#59" which is "Me new to the forum".
Thanks

CHR
Hi Bala,
You are correct. The root domain was left to Citehr so the links which were being created by the program were on the citehr domain. It has been fixed now. Thanks for bringing this to my notice.

Hi CHR....
I had been busy last month and was not able to come online which was the reason I was not visible on the Forum.
Its nice you took notice... I hope the CiteHR can manage to handle its finances well and that it can find some sponsers so that we all can gain benefit from it...
I understand that it is quite difficult to manage changes in the current scenario as you have to look after some other projects as well... But I hope that you would keep this in mind and try to do something about it whenever you get some free time...
