Appraisal Systems

Purpose
This component provides support for creating appraisal systems, planning, implementing, and reporting on appraisals. An appraisal system is a self-contained process that allows formal and standardized evaluations in a business context using one or more templates (appraisal models) as objectively as possible. Within the Appraisal Systems component, you can map various appraisal systems such as personnel appraisals, 360° feedback appraisals, formalized job references, business event appraisals, tests, and surveys. These systems serve as personnel development instruments to evaluate members of the organization in a planned, formalized, and standardized manner.

Integration
The functions of the Appraisal Systems component can be utilized to create appraisals in Personnel Administration, Training and Event Management, and Compensation Management. The results of an appraisal can impact remuneration and update qualifications profiles.

Features
In the Appraisal Systems component, you can map various analytical appraisal systems and create different appraisal models for each system. These models are managed in an appraisal catalog and allow for defining specific information for each appraisal, including the appraisers, appraisal type, rating scale, and calculation procedures. The system supports involving multiple planning objects, maintaining appraiser anonymity, conducting appraisals in phases, defining individual creation periods for appraisers in multisource appraisals, and carrying out the entire appraisal process in an IT environment. An approval workflow is in place to streamline the appraisal process.
